I don't like the idea, you would loose the flavour of the Runner Vs. Dancer games such as the challenges between SPADs vs Fokker Dr.Is. The games between Sopwith Triplane and Fokker Dr. I would became one way and so on.
If you want to do such an implementation, do it as an add-on, that's to say that who create a game can select if using the original system or try the new one, and let people clearly understand which kind of fuel rules are in use, original or equalitarian, by using a graphic simble like the one used to identify the games of a league. So people can select an evaluate it.

You don't need to be liberal, this is not a democracy, it is a game site and works on different rules.
Anyway let me forecast that, if you do this implementation, and people can clearly understand which type of fuel rules are on, some will swhch to the equalitarian but most will remain with the original one since it is one of the aspects that make Blue Max so nice. |
