Hi folks,
some of the games drag out so long and boring because one player wouldn't give up a ship because he or she doesn't want to loose points by surrendering.
That's understandable. But these endless games are a pain. Why shouldn't a player keep his points because he surrenders? That would make a lot of things much easier.
And another one: What are the points for anyway?
load the cannons, Micha
Patience, I have a game that's been going since last March.
I've never been bothered by people not surrendering, I have been bothered by people surrendering. Try fighting a hard battle and have a ship surrender the move before you sink them. You don't get any points for your efforts.
The points are used to determine the winner. A ship surrendering can win the game by denying points to the other team. |
