Wooden Ships & Iron Men - test

CHANGELOG:

November 30th 2021
- Anchoring rules! (adds to HDT, allows a ship to pivot on stern if only stern anchor dropped. Takes 2 turns to raise em!)
--- Anchoring Note 1: Many scenarios did not allow anchoring. At this time all scenarios allow it. Will correct when scenarios are updated.
--- Anchoring Note 2: Official rules do not clarify if a ship drifts or not when anchored. We interpret it that a ship will NOT drift when anchored.
- Ability to fire Chainshot is now based on starting nationality instead of current controlling nationality. Only certain ships actually had the chain available for use on them.
- Fix: Ships involved in melee cannot make repairs.
- BlueMax minor bug fix: Correctly damages both machine guns when taking two identical blue chits from two different attacks.
- Interface updates:
-- Moved -Show Previous Ship positions- button near the Ship controls
-- Changed repair default to rigging
-- During melee, the Ship Controls are no longer a fixed float, so that it is possible to scroll it down when having lots of ships in melee.

March - May 2021
- Mobile Interface Controls
-- Moved the controls in the top right corner. I didn't want to steal precious space for the event log on the left.
-- The Ship Status should automatically move down a bit to make space for the Ship Controls.
-- You can click directly on a ship to select it or use the next/previous ship button.
- Also:
-- added Help descriptions on popup (? icon) for SkipTBP, Offer Draw and Surrender. Removed the text near them and made them a single line.
-- added the improved targeting (Full Guns solutions are preferred on equal HdT)
-- added ship autofocus when clicking on the ships or on PrevShip / NextShip buttons. The window will try to scroll so that the ship is on the center of the page.
-- fixed map rendering on some tablets
- Backing Sails
-- These allow a ship to Back Sails for a move, preventing some automatic Foulings that sometimes occur.
- REPAIRS
-- Ships which don't load or fire guns, engage in melee, become involved in a collision, up-anchor, change from full sails to battle sails or vice-versa, or expend any factors of its movement allowance to turn (only move in a straight line or not at all), may make repairs; provided there are at least two crew sections available. (The second section need not be complete). All repairs take three turns (not necessarily in sequence). In three turns, two hull, two rigging, or two gun squares can be repaired. Repairs cannot be made on surrendered ships. Only one type of repair may be made per turn.
- Bug Fixes and other small stuff
-- Fixed the bug discovered by Longneck on Rule V.D1 and I implemented Rule V.D.3 which was missing.
-- Fix on Rule V.D.1.
-- Rule V.D.3.
-- Fix grapple release when ship explodes or sinks.
-- Added Wind Scenario info when game is Advanced.
-- Fixed bug which displayed incorrect wind on Turn 0<.BR>-- Fixed wrong redirection from Beta to Main on scenario preview.
-- Fixed scenario preview: now ships are visible again.
-- Added Wind info on scenario preview, improved visuals.

These changes have not been much pre-tested, watch out for bugs!

Mar, 12th 2011
- Fixed a bug on capture events: the line which said "ship is now controlled by XXX" sometimes showed a wrong username.

- All collisions are now noted in the log.
- Collisions now stop both ships, not just the losing one.

Jan, 24th 2011
- Fixed bug which prevented ships surrendered by immobility from turning immediately when they ceased to be surrendered
- Fixed bug which prevented players out of the game to rejoin game if one of their ships was freed from capture
