if we are to be spending any time tinkering with the game i would far prefer to see the implementation of the additional sailing rules, wind directions, ammunition and all the other things that are needed to complete the game
the scoring of points is pretty much immaterial except for bragging and i dont think making changes in the score is really any kind of an improvement
as Johnny made the statement...it dont really matter how much damage you score on your enemy it is only the achievement of the strategic or tactical objectives that count...Germany scored more points at Jutland in World War One, but they lost the battle as the blocade remained in place...
