Hi, I can't recall the forum discussion about this matter.

Fuel was inserted, originally, to have games no longer that 20-25 turns, since dogfights were frenzied encounters usually lasting less than 10 minutes. An optional rule, in the italian 1st edition, allows player to "double" the fuel capacity.

Maybe one day it will be insert as an option... and that will be the day when the Fokker DVII will be a dreadnought monster, worst than today ...
