1 - if your coalition lose and you score more than any other losing player

This used to be 15% more than the next highest -- is it still that, or just the highest?

Just the highest.

Is the bonus for being the highest scorer on the WINNING team gone?

Yes, it's gone

+1 to each player of the winning coalition who is still in game at the end of the game (at least 1 ship still able to fire) in case of "overwhelming victory".

I would get rid of this because it encourages players to hold off until the end, then rush in and grab the bonus. This already happens a lot and I'm afraid we'd see it even more.
Agree with Bill here. There are people in the 4 or more players league games that will just sit out in the fringes and contribute nothing.

However, if they hold off too much, they won't contribute and it will probably not be an overwhelming win.

-1 if you are in the winning side, but you didn't score any point and you have lost all your ships.

I'm not sure about this either. Since points are only scored on the kill shot (is that still true?) it's possible for someone to contribute but score no points. Especially in a captain game where you only have one ship.
No -1 for this case. The frigate players in the Gibraltar scenario frequently braves the brunt of the fighting. They frequent sunk after damaging enemy ships that were later sunk be teammates.

@ LongNeck: points are scored only for struck ships and for surrendered/captured ships that stay so until the end.
Indeed this -1 could be a problem in scenarios where sacrificing your frigate is vital to enable team success.

So, just to recap, you'll score:
0 - if you surrender

Maybe even -1?
At least -1 or more. People who surrender should be punish dearly for their cowardice.

In that case, not sure the surrender button will be used anymore.. we may as well remove it

WS&IM Rulebook obviously doesn't say anything about "league scoring on Youplay" so we are free to change the scoring the way we think it's better - let me know your further ideas on this
Also, it might be good to have a league where we play without "bug tests", to see how the new scoring goes in "real action"

Derek here, very late to this party.

A few points to make - cowardly players who hang on the fringes to then swoop in and grap the points. I doubt a player who uses this will tactic will be in a position to win the scenario for his/her coalition. If 1/2 of an enemies ships do not engage, then 90% of the time a decent team will tear that coalition apart.

As for surrendering, I disagree with the -1. The player should score zero. They already will suffer from giving their opponents double points and an overwhelming victory league score. Seems like to do so is "doubling-down" on the punishment side of the equation. Definitely should not be more than -1!

Also, can a player end up scoring 5? Win is 3, plus overwhelming is 4, plus highest scorer is 5?

Just checking. Our next league we should check the scoring on each and every game as they end, and have players do all manner of things like surrendering and losing without taking out an enemy ship etc etc etc.

I'm very glad this is all happening!
