What have you changed for the league system? We need to know so we can test the new rules for you. Good point! The list of fixes doesn't tell *how* things have been fixed so it's not much informative.. maybe I should add some more info on the changes there.
Anyway, about Leagues, these are the new league score rules:
Definitions: Natural end: a game ends naturally when on side is completely wiped out or because of end of hostility. (i.e. not when a side surrender, nor players accept draw) Draw: when all non surrendered players accept draw using the 'Draw' checkbox. Tie: when the game ends naturally and both sides are still in game and have scored the same number of points. Winning side: the side which still has ships at the end of game. If more than one coalition has ships, winning side is the coalition which scored more points. Draw and Tie games have no winning sides. Overwhelming victory: winning coalition score 2x or more opponent coalition's points. i.e. 20-10 is overwhelming, 21-11 is not.
Possible scenario end situation: All surrender Draw Tie (same number of points for both sides) One side win, the other side lose
Scenario Point scored by players: 0 points if you lose the game 1 point if the scenario is a Tie or is a Draw 3 points if you win the game 0 points if you surrender using the checkbox, no matter who's the winner of the scenario. If All surrender, All score 0
Bonus/Malus Scenario Point assigned to players: +1 to each player of the winning coalition who is still in game at the end of the game (at least 1 ship still able to fire) in case of "overwhelming victory". +1 to the single player, belonging to a non-winning side, who scored more points than all the other players of non-winning sides and did not surrender or accepted draw and scored at least 1 point. So in case of a non 0-0 tie, 1 bonus point will be awarded to the player who scored more than all the other players. -1 if you are in the winning side, but you didn't score any point and you have lost all your ships.
So, just to recap, you'll score: 0 - if you surrender 0 - if your coalition lose 1 - if is is a tie 1 - if it is a draw 1 - if your coalition lose and you score more than any other losing player 2 - if is is a tie and you score more than any other player in the game 2 - if your coalition win but you have lost all your ships and scored 0 points 3 - if you win 4 - if your coalition win overwhelmingly
There is also one more change, which affects normal points score and so it's important in leagues too:
Total points scored bonus for surrendered players If a player surrenders, all the other coalitions receive a bonus to their total score as if the ships he abandoned by surrendering were captured by them.
These rules come from what has been proposed to Nick last summer
