Forum Message | | Message text In the 3 ongoing games using the new wind direction (bottom right to top left), the starting position of the French ships have tactical advantage over the British ships. The upwind starting position allows the French to bring the guns to bear on the British ships more quickly. The British crack crew can get couple of ships shooting quickly but the rest have to paddle their way upwind for many turns.
