Yes, it's called jealousy! He can't stand someone being a better player, so, he makes himself feel good by playing newbies or others he knows he can always beat! THEN, he complains when someone plays him who will beat him as he feels they are preying on a newbie! Close to 150 games and he's a newbie? From playing him., I would have to say he is! Only because he refuses to learn and only plays easy prey.
I don't play newbies though, UNLESS, they make a comment as some do that they are interested in learning. I do the same as you Mich, I will send lots of message explaining the game to them. While I have an almost 100% chance of winning, that's not the point of course, it's to help the new guy. Kudos to you Mich! |
