You see when you surrender the points are 0 to 0, thus those who chase points will drop in the standings instead of gain.
The one who did not surrender still gets the win, so, they will RISE in the standings. WINS, not points. In fact, if I wanted wins, I would join every game against you as I would then have a 100% win percentage.
You have 2 more defenses other than what you mention:
1. Only join games others have created, it would not be ethical to do so and then surrender of course or 2. When you create a game, you can specify comments. If your comment said something like "novices only", or "no experienced players" or whatever you want, them, I would suspect almost none of them would join the game.
To me, #2 is the most honest way to do so. If experts STILL join the game with you, then, You can do as you wish of course!
If you don't specify anything, how would someone know they should not join the game against you, what your exact criteria are, etc.? How is THAT fair? YOU are not being fair! When I look at Chiggy, I see a guy who has played well over 100 games, and won half of them. WHY in the world would I or anyone else assume you are easy meat? Perhaps YOU are the stat whore!? |
