Message text I know the current code implements the written rules but it seems many players agree that:
1) Wind changes too often. 2) The direction is too random.
Proposed:
1) Only check for a wind change once every 4 turns.
2) Only allow the wind to change direction by 1 compass point in either direction. (If it's heading N, then it can only change to NE or NW. If it's heading N it's not allowed to completely reverse direction and change to S or SE or SW on that turn.) Only six compass points on a hex map. I think you get the idea.
Thoughts for or against? Is this hard to code?
I think it will make the game much more enjoyable. |
