Also, I don't think it is dependent on how many players are on a side, so the "each side with more than one player" is incorrect and should be removed.
I think the number of team members is significant - look at the example 3 on the page above and you will see this line
None is declared the best team player since only each team is composed by only one player.
Not certain how that applies to games with 2 vs 1 - but I guess that the side with 2 planes can get a 'best player' while the other side can't.
And yes you are correct "all of their teammates" is incorrect (sorry about that) - it should I think say 'each other teammate'
Your suggested fix is (I think) also incorrect
'any other team mate' implies that (in this silly example) with one person on 101 points, 6 on 100 points, and one player on 13 points (in a team of 8 players) the player on 101 points (who would have more than 15% more than the player on 13 points) the extra best player league point.
I think he needs 115 points (or more) in order to gain that extra league point.

Duals don't get the Best Player point because, well, it would be pointless.
However, 2 v 1 games, the solo side does get the Best Player point, which is why I made the point in my previous post.
