perhaps a change should be made to remove the gun smoke graphic within a turn or two of firing

The gun smoke graphic is there to alert you to the fact that said broadside is empty for the upcoming turn UNLESS you are having it loaded.
I actually rely heavily on that graphic and would be very disappointed if it were removed.
