Message text I know it's been a huge amount of work, and technically its very clever, but does anyone else just prefer the 'old' version? (I really am very sorry...)
The blue hex map, the beautiful artwork on the planes and the incredible simplicity for what made a very good game. It looks like Blue Max, it plays like Blue Max, it feels like Blue Max.
I bought my first edition copy some 40+ years ago. I still haven't punched my copy of the 2013 reworking.
I think I'll just have to call the new version by another name. I'm sure it'll be a great game, but with so many changes, I prefer my Blue Max as Blue Max. |
