I have been playing BM on this site for over 15 years now and got a lot of enjoyment out of the game. In that time I have built up friendly rivalry with so many great pilots, some of whom have been around on this site longer than me. Friendly games are okay but leagues have always been the lifeblood of the game. Recently, the numbers signing up for leagues has dropped considerably and it seems most leagues (possibly 90%) are getting auto cancelled for lack of players.

My points of view is completely different.
None of the Blue Max leagues that I started or joined died before starting.
Personally I think that we loose many possible players since when they join they go to the Blue Max page and find no game to join, since they find no game to play, they leave the page. And thi is true since when started the leagues.
I've toyed with this idea. Always have at least a few random games created, for all the games, if there are zero games in the queue. But which scenarios? I suppose I could just look at the most popular.
I agree. We need folks to start more regular games. I started half a dozen large scenarios they all filled up within 3 days.

The problem is creating games often enough, yesterday I created and left there 30 games, now there are just 11, tomorrow there will be none.
It would be nice if the system automatically create an identical game, when one create a league and another when the league starts.
But it would be nice if people create more simple games.
