| Message text i have seen the Blue Max movie once or twice and i have to say that i enjoy it a lot...despite the fact that George Peppard is in it
the acting jobs by all the players were certainly on par with the limited plot...
mind you James Mason is an amazing actor and can do wonders with even the silliest role
George on the other hand just does not do it for me...there is something about him that just doesnt hold true no matter what role he is in...and as a German officer...NO WAY...though at least in Blue Max he didnt try to fudge the terrible German accent like he did in the film Tobruk
Ms Andress was there pretty much as eye candy... there are no illusions about her acting ability... but she has a great...ahhhh...presence
Blue Max was pure Hollywood...probably why it was so entertaining
