I know where you are coming from, however... This version of Blue Max could forbid such exits. It does not. To expect someone to play against their own self interests is asking a lot. You will see by my average point score that I seldom exit the board. I stay on when it makes sense to leave. I have an unaturally high average score because of this. (because of league rules I have had to learn to exit). I played this way because I knew that I could never play enough games to catch the top of the lists kills or wins. The pilot in question is beating me soundly for kills/deaths and total wins, and I am crushing almost everyone for total points. If he stayed on the board, he could approach my points, but would drop in the kill/death catagory.

It was a very sneaky move. I would like to have seen the last 4 turns to see how good everyone was at supporting their teamates. 1v3 picking you off is pretty brutal.

The original boardgame has rules that you can find here:
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameRulesFull.asp
If you bother to read and get to the escape section, they say

Escape

Eventually, because his plane has suffered severe damage, is about to run out of fuel, or has run out already, a player may wish to escape from combat and head back to the aerodrome.

A player is considered to have escaped if his plane flies off the edge of the playing surface behind his side’s start line. (An aircraft may not fly off the edge anywhere else.)

Honor demands that a player not attempt to escape until he has a good reason for doing so.

The game is over once all aircraft of one side have been shot down or have escaped.

So I have all the rights to complain about people exiting from the WRONG side. Yes, even if this means you are got to get killed. In the original game you could not, so please do not do it here

See you in the sky
