Now demasted ships block incoming fire, even riggings aimed fire ! They block it ...with nothing! Furthermore the AI pick them as "best target" (I think becouse of the damage) so they soak a wonderful amount of fire ...with nothing!
It's just like the "invisible gyrocopter syndrome" that years ago stormed "Warhammer Fantasy Battle"
A - "My Ultra-elite giant-sized cavalry unit declare a end-game charge against your helpless dwarven artillery"
B - "Sorry, you can't, I moved my invisible gyrocopter just in front of your cavalry"
A - "Mmmm... Well, so I will charge your gyrocopter now and your artillery next turn"
B - "Sorry again, but --invisible machines cannot be charged or fired upon until they shoot-- and I never shoot!"
A - "Hu? ...Ok, My cavalry will simply move...
B - "Sorry, cavalry can't turn 90to move away and can't touch enemy units without a charge"
A - "May I shoot?"
B - "Of course, at the nearest unit... this mean you can shoot at my units closer than the Gyrocopter I just stuck 1 mm away from your cavalry"

Please...avoid this!
I have a game while my ships are on both sides of a enemy line, with a demasted ship ... and all (all) my fire automatically aim to the demasted ship's riggings, while opponent's pound me... and to close to 5 hexes I need to take at least 2 rakes for free...
I suggest to fix this, her's a couple of possible solutions... just 2... cents :
1 - Riggingless ships no longer qualify for "Best target" against incoming fire --aimed to rigging-- (less impact)
2 - Rigging aimed fire does no more take in account riggingless targets (allowing to shoot upon them) and hit rigged ships behind. (final solution)
