To fix this should be a "must do" thing... I'm starting to see a lot --lot-- of games running toward stalemates...
Ships can cripple incoming enemies as far as 10 hehes (ok, now much less becouse of the realistic guns) ...but ships cannot destroy opposing ships at range 6+ (just noticed that distance take in account the farest target hex) ...so there are a lot of duels (in big battles) endig with a couple of dismasted ships at 6 hexes with crews shoutig curses each other while both wreck stay immobile or, in future, drifting together and waiting do crash against the first available continent...
