Hello gals and guys.
I'm wondering myself if I could be able to find something. Actually I've been not so I have to ask here to try getting some advantage from the experienced players all over here at youplay.it.
I am getting a table ready to play Warhammer Fantasy Battles with my son and some friends. That's the easy side of things.
Then, considering I have a table 180cm long and 122 cms wide, and having it one of its two sides open to have other use I think I might cover it with an hex-mat to play other games like could be Blue Max (and similars) with miniatures.
The question is: does anyone know of some kind of adhesive hex mat that I could use to cover the other side of the table?
Thanks so very much, Wishgamer
When we were playing Blue Max with 1/72 scale airplanes, we had them on hex shaped bases attached to car antenna. I used 3 different colors of spray paint, black, brown, and tan, on a green felt mat. I moved the hex across the edge of the mat and gave it a short spray along the inboard side. Then I moved the hex, gave it a spray with another color, and moved it along. It went quickly. The spacing of hexes worked out perfectly. It looked very good with the mottled colors. |
