Since when can anchored ships drift?

and a ship can*t fire at a ship farther away than a nearer ship on the same broadside.
great, in my game anchored ships drift
and the enemy fires a rake at my ship, when another is nearer and no rake!
So I gonna loose because of not following the rules of the game!
