| Message text I think the question you have about the distance comes from how you are counting.
In WSIM you can measure distances from either end of one ship, to either end of the other ship, taking the shortest of all the distances that respects the broadside firing arcs.
By this method, Captain and Leviathan are the same distance away from Auguste. The distance to Captain is shortest when measured from its bow to August's stern, while the distance to Leviathan is the same regardless of which end you pick on either ship.
You can quickly tell they're at the same distance by noting that they're both in the same row of hexes and that row is parallel to Auguste's orientation. |
