My opponent has flown off the edge of the playing area (retired) without honour, yet still gets a point. I understand that this point is because the game awarded him "Best Player" from his side.

I'm not debating the rights and wrongs of his actions but I need a clarification of the rules.

I thought that if you retired without honour you received no points.

If I had retired rather than him - would I have therefore have won the game?

So having my engine shot off may not be a hindrance if I am far enough ahead I just fly off the board anywhere I like in multi-player league games.
