Message text But in your system stressing sunk ships, if I damage all the enemy ships to have 1 point left, and then die, and then they wipe out all my friends without losing a ship, I am among the worst players. That simply isn't true - I would be a hero.
Also, if I'm in a sloop against a 80 ton SOL, if I damage him severely that's a tremendous result for me. The fact that I sunk is because of the strategic failing that led to me being in a Sloop against a SOL at the tactical level. I shouldn't be penalised for the scenario design putting me in a smaller ship - we already see players making several games with them as the more powerful ship, and I haven't seen anyone creating a game and picking the weaker vessel.
