In advanced rules we plan to add some "Hex properties". This will allow us to have sandbank, islands and so on.
But having the software generating the map each time different is quite complicate and will occupy a lot of space in the database since we plan to have a map of 200x200 hexes (now the map has no limits, but we need to add it in order to manage ritiring and other stuff like that).
Maybe we can create 10x10 or 20x20 minimaps and then merge them together randomly each game. But for now we are concentrated on the debugging of the simplified verions on the implementation of the basic rules.
This is an idea we will develope when it'll time for the advanced rules.
