The original rules are unclear and seem to NOT cover all of the various possibilities in terms of Field of Fire. My rule extends the Basic Rules F-O-F concept of nearest object blocks, and brings it forward into the Advanced Rules by adding in the two Gun sections. This way in my rules there are not 5 fields of fire, but 2 that over lap each other.

Sounds interesting, as I told you in-game, I'd be happy to read it.
However, know that I will use "house rules" only if the original ones really don't work (e.g. if they don't cover all firing possibilities, a house rule could be used at least to handle those cases).
