2) Does it quietly add one to your wins? Because the list of recently finished games still shows only one player's name bolded, and I wasn't keeping track of my number of wins, so I'm not sure if it added one or not.

I can only speak to the games I have been invloved in; but, yes, it seems like for all the time I have been playing on this website that although only the highest scorer is highlighted, all members of the winning coalition get a win added to their stats.
This happens regardless of whether basic or simplified rules are being used.
