I've noticed in several games when I have ship in position and range to fire, it won't even appear on the combat list as attempting to fire. Not even a "unable to fire" or anything like that. It is always puzzling. Today in a game I had a ship in clear position to rake on its initial broadside at 5 hexes from a ship with no rigging, no obstacles between them and....nothing happened. Do I have a traitor captain in my fleet?
