In a number of games I have noticed that I lose my last fuel - it just disappears. I thought I had just miscalculated and made a mistake, but now I know I haven't.

I spent ages pondering my move so that I could deliberately set this up so with my last fuel I could stall in the hope that my opponent would get too confident and I could get him at range zero.

Nope, the game took four fuel for the previous three fuel manoeuvre and left me a sitting duck.

No fair - I cry.

Definite bug - happens a lot. Please fix it.

Yes I know you cannot go from a speed 3 to speed 1 as would have been the case in this game, but it happens when I could have used it as well when I had been at speed 2.
