Actually, Wertzz makes perfect sense but being hellbent on calling people names blinds you to his reasoning.
He plays the game as if he is a pilot. You try to kill and not be killed. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, or lose half your points for leaving off the side. All that matters is that you do as much damage as you can and live to fight another day. He is playing the simulation more so than the game, so calling him names for it is out of line.
What Wertzz does is quite different than what Dude27 did as well as what your teammate did in the game you linked to. They left dishonorably with planes still very well equipped for combat, solely to get the cheap win. I don't avoid games with pilots who play the simulation like Wertzz does, but the pilots that go for cheap wins I steer clear of.
Announcing that you'll run in advance is a pretty poor excuse for sportsmanship. Using this as a guise for acceptable gameplay is akin to saying if it doesn't go my way, I'm picking up my toys and going home.
This is still a game. And in this game, there are penalties for leaving early or anywhere but your side. If you can't abide by that, then the name applies.
As for opponents, I assume the other Pilot knows the rules and will play accordingly. I have no interest in the "Cheap" win either. But running off is just plain weak...
