Now we could do this regardless of whether they appeared in the Blue Max game or not. It isn't hard to put together some model charts based on the excellent Canvas Eagle work (though for simplicity sake they have to be toned down).
I thought the addition of some Observation Balloons for scoring possibilities would also be a good idea.
It would be great to be able to model a Gotha IV or Ilya Muromets.
Some technical notes:
For the balloons exists no rules, so, provided all the discussions that there have been on rules, I don't think that Nick will dare to create them. Even if having something of static around which to pivot can provide some tactical variations.
As long as it regards Capronis, Vickers, Gothas and Sikorskys, they would be just some low moving nests of machine guns with their observers to operate them and they would be some slow moving pivot points. Again a tactical variation and some heavy programming work.
Final point, no graphics for the new items. For each new plane you would need at least three different coluored profiles. Where are them? |
