This usually happens when one of you is about to sink regardless. Most of the time you can work around this problem by not making any move and just press the "Move my ships" button. Other times you have to try a few moves (not necessary what you may want) to get it to accept it. Only on 1 occasion (I think) that we needed to contact Nick.
