One thing BMBug didn't mention was that we couldn't get a handle on the chits.

There was a definite move towards pilots who were better than you always hitting the same place. In one game BMBug had fourteen engine hits in four red chits in one turn, followed the next turn by eleven tail hits in a similar number of chits. No hits anywhere else.

I also received all of my hits on the wings or fuselage in a number of games, with no damage anywhere else. These hits were received during the course of a twenty-two turn game.

We also noted that if your opponent was better than you and you had a killing position on them, in 70% of the cases we got a one or two for damage.

I presume that he didn't mention these because the statistics are inconclusive, however I feel that they are significant enough for players to note.
