This is a great point and very true. The original game allowed for "Backing Sails" by burning off movement points. This way ships that were passing at close proximity and would otherwise collide could avoid that fate.
Often times you may want a ship to only move one when it can legally go three, but because its first move would cause it to "share space" with another ship on the other ship's first move, you are stuck.
I agree that this would be a great addition to the game. |
