I tend to play games with three to six players rather than one-on-one, however, I fairly regularly hear complaints from friends each weekend regarding players who are more concerned about exiting with a minor point lead than fighting. I have been in quite a few (too many for my taste) games where the winner was shot down but won on points from shooting verses other players who had more kills.
