inspired me to start a poll and make a proposal. The basic idea is that YouPlayIt is a village, and every village should have a village idiot.

The village idiot should be allowed to do whatever he or she likes: post offensive nazi material, complain about the random number generator, write obscenities, flirt with Tornade, support Bush's foreign policy, adopt imdog's orthography, fart in the elevator*, complain that s/he didn't get the stall bonus against someone that did a [31L2], use the emoticon every two lines like juggernaut, agree with TXWard that censoring nazis is against freedom of speech, be a radical commie like Gugliandalf, warn that s/he started with more fuel than what the rules say, write long and obscure philosophical messages like DBurkeG's, adopt the "GNAA" signature, complain about the Fokker D.VII's low fuel stat, make a ridiculously bad newbie guide to BlueMax like Swartz's, and not closing the <quote> tags correctly like Pirolo1.

The only rule is that there can be only a single village idiot at a given time: all others should be banned. I would also like the webmasters to make a "village fool" badge to replace the supporter's blue ball or webmaster star for this user. Specific rules on how to nominate and impeach village idiots will follow.
