There's still people that doesn't wait for teammates' tailing. That's a mistake.

1. If your teammate is tailing an enemy that you can't tail, their tailing can give you precious informations about your enemy.

2. You are in a team! That means you should work togheter, e.g. covering more space with your firing ranges, protecting each other, chasing as a pack instead that as solitary hunters.
