A few related observations in no particular order.
1. The majority of players don't read the forums, so if that is a requirement, you're automatically cutting your possible opponents.
2. Given time zone differences, it's not always easy finding opponents available for extended play in a time window you are free.
3. One option you might consider is creating a forum posting for fast play in which you list the times you are typically available in UTC. Others with similar interest can thus post and more readily find those they can play in such a manner.
4. Anything beyond 1 vs 1, is very unlikely to play very fast.

1. The description that many people don't read when creating a battle is also important, so the solution was the forum, because I didn't find any other sources of communication with the site's players.
This requirement is not something that is mandatory, it's just that when there is a gap of a day between moves, I get very lost and the game becomes less interesting.
2. Yes, the time zone is a problem. That's why I suggested that we negotiate specifically in the game we've already created.
I'm quite flexible and can combine quick departures with other activities, and I can postpone sleep for a couple of hours to play before or after a 6-8 hour break.
3. Yes, that's exactly what they told me above. I created a post where I described my wishes for the game and specified a short tag and password. Anyone who agrees and has read the message can easily join my games or create similar ones.
4. Yes, everything except 1 on 1 is obviously delayed. But I've personally played with several people who are active at about the same time interval. Therefore, purely in theory, with slightly longer delays in the moves, but you can win back the same 2 x 2 in a day, for example |
