| | Message text Truthfully the best way to learn is through trial and error. Unlike fighter pilots of WWI, you will get the chance to learn from your mistakes, which is invaluable.
As for the best beginners plane, you will not go wrong with an Albatros DVa in almost any scenario. It is so middle-of-the-road, you will learn the basic tricks that apply across virtually every other plane.
On the other hand, don't get seduced by the Pfalz DIII. It's not hopeless, and is dangerous in the hands of an expert, but newcomers will be toast in it if up against an experienced player. |
