40 leagues!! I am not sure any of us die-hards have ever tried that. I had 200 active games (BM+WSIM) before in probably 20 leagues. It won't take 4 hours because you are eliminated in some of them but then it is a lot of work.
bluemax is easy, but for Gonzaga/KingMe/Vampiring, if you need to make serious move. Each move takes at least 2-5 minutest!
Actually, there's a limit of, I believe, 256 games you can be signed up for at a time in BM. You will not be able to sign up for additional leagues or single scenarios once you hit that.
Now, you can get around that if you have some slots open, and you sign up for a number of leagues that then kick into action, filling up your still empty slots and pushing to whatever surplus. Given the typical amount of time for leagues to fill up these days though, I think it would be fairly hard to have more than 300 active games.
