I had quite a few new ideas for 2011 Campaign, but in the end I just found myself too much busy with WS&IM and "real life" to start the new campaign.
I think there are 4 options:
1) Start the campaign soon (like in 1 week) using the same exact format of last year.
2) Start the campaign on July with some changes, like:
games automatically created based on the war status (e.g. how many planes have been shot of each type)
squadron support (squadron statistics and maybe even automatic challenge games so that squadron players fly together)
3) Start the campaign on September to avoid the "summer break" and have more time to develop new ideas.
4) Someone else starts and manages the campaign 
I think BlueDragon can run this better than anybody else (maybe except sbadranga). As much as we like to start this soon, the summer break is going to get into way of these games. Starting early September will be better.
I opt for
squadron support as well. Keep the games to no more than a 4 vs 4 so smaller squadron can participate. If someone don't have a squadron, they should be able to join a pool of non squadron players.
