February 3rd 2020: Facebook Group and WS&IM Beta site
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to remind you about the Facebook group for You Play It. Thats where I post about downtime or other things. You can check it out here.

To try to avoid spammers, I only ask one membership question, what is your You Play It username.
Also, it seems many of you don't know about the Beta site for Wooden Ships and Iron Men. Thats where many advanced rules have been implemented for the game. It's there you can try out some of the more advanced rules like battle sails, wind changes, and ammo types. Check it out here.

Be warned that Auto-move does not work, nor do email notifications. You'll need to check in occasionally or the game will just disappear. Start a game, I'll join!

November 30th 2019: Happy Holiday Season Everyone
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far!
Here in the States it starts with Thanksgiving. Then, for me, Christmas is only a few weeks away, with New Years after that. In any case, enjoy your holidays, whatever you celebrate.
As far as this site goes, I did (and still do) have a lot of plans for this site, but just wrangling through this code is a full time job, and I already have one of those. I do have a few ideas, so not all hope is lost for some updates.
For now at least I can offer you all a stable and fast site.
Here's wishing you the weather gauge with the sun at your back. And remember, it's better to give (a broadside) than receive...
