Complete news list News October 25th 2005: Cartagena visual enhancements Dear dungeoneer,
We implemented a completely new Cartagena Game page.
Among the new implementation you will see:
Choosing a move you will see 2 different previews (textual and graphical)
A lot of users informations will be immediately available on screen, or reachable with a graphical tooltip window
For each player it is now possible to know when he made his last move for that game
Graphical face down display for your opponents cards on Jamaica games
A lot of bells & whistle everywere
To avoid problems we put a link to the new interface into every old Cartagena Game page, so that you can test it but you will be able anyway to use the old interface if you should find some problem with the new one.
If there will be no problems, we will completely move to the new Cartagena Game page in a couple of days
You can see a little sample here, but the best improvements can be seen only playing, so start a new Cartagena game now.
We hope you enjoy this changes. As usual your comments are welcome.
Your Webmasters.
By the way: Perhaps someone noticed the site is a bit faster now? We got some more bandwidth to play with. |

News October 19th 2005: Blue max visual enhancement Dear pilots,
we completely changed the way the map in Blue Max is displayed. Now:
- Burning and smoking planes are shown directly on the map,
- Preview move does no longer hide other planes,
- Out of the map preview moves are now visible,
- Special damages are reported in the plane chart
- The HTML creation process is 10 times faster than before.
We hope you enjoy this new map,
Your Webmasters.
P.S. While you wait other players to move, don't forget to have a look at our new absolutely boombastic game: The Big Random Planes Race |

News July 26th 2005: Did I already played with him?
We just modified the User page you can see clicking on a player name anywhere on the site.
Now it's possible from the User page to get a list of every games you played with that user (or at least the last 300).
This way you can easily see if you already played with a player before joining a game, and who was the winner in every match you made.
And for those who hadn't noticed it yet, in the My Games page there is a list showing you all the games not ended yet, but where you have been eliminated.
Obviously this list is visible only if there is at least one game in it.
This was done expecially for Blue Max and Vampiring users, so that they will be able to follow a game even after they were out of the game. In the same time, everyone will be able to know if he's out, even if he asked to not receive email from us.
As a side effect, it is now possible to know if a user has been automoved, because automoving users are listed within brackets [].
We hope you like it.
