June 30th 2005: STOP Software Patents

On 6th of July the European Parliament will vote for a software patents proposal.

We (and almost every small European software developer) are against this proposal, then we are happy to support the Web Strike declared by http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/

Currently there are already several software patents pending, and if this proposal will not be stopped, a lot of sites will have to be changed to avoid patents infringements.

Here you can see what kind of patents are currently pending, and how hard they are going to hit almost every site online now: http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/en/m/basics/webshop.html

We avoided banners till now, but this time is for a good cause.

June 17th 2005: New Blue Max statistics

The statistics page in Blue Max is brand new!

It is now possible to know, for each scenario, who's the best pilot in the sky. The statistics are also splitted in German and Allied ranking, so you can know who's the best enemy to challenge.

It was a hard work... we hope you'll appreciate it.

Have fun,
your StatsMasters.

June 7th 2005: Completely automated moves

After Blue Max, in which automove started some days ago, with the current update even VampiRing and Viva il Re / King Me moves are automated.

Since Cartagena started automoving several months ago, all our games have automoves now.
This means that every time a player stops moving in any game, the site will start moving for him after 30 days, and will move once every day after, until the disappeared players will return or the game ends.

If you were planning to open some new game, wait a bit. There are lots of old games that are coming back to life.

Have (automated) fun
