Yes, I noticed that. You must be speaking, correct me if I am wrong, of VIII.D of the ADVANCED rules. The key word is ADVANCED.
This online game is based on a subset of the basic rules, not advanced rules. The new version, which will come out once tested and debugged, implements most of the rest of the basic game rules.
Advanced rules are not part of this game for now. So, it is not a bug, nor does it differ from the board game.
Also, please note Optional Rules XIII says neither way is always "realistic". |
