By the time you have slowed the enemy ship you still need to manuever around to rake them. IF instead you just shot their hull, you would sink them and a sunk ship can break up a formation quite well.
Ok, I guess we'll have to play sometime then. Even in the 7 or 8 ship scenario EACH, ONE ship reduced in speed by ONE can win the game for you. Trust me! Combined with gaining the wind can be the biggest advantage you can imagine.
But, HULL is also good of course. Each has their place. |
