I second this.

I believe a damaged wooden ship to the point of sinking (holes and leaks) will go completely under as the wreck is dragged under by the heavy cargo onboard (guns, balls, tons of food and gunpowder). Only small (loosened ) wreckwood would emerge.

ONLY when the gunpowder stocks got a direct hit and the whole ship had exploded to smithereens THEN you could say that ALL wood of the ship would still be afloat. BUt because it is so scattered and in little pieces (and ropes and sails are completely torn apart), I do not see how it could obstruct manoeuvres of other ships.

I like to keep the shade on the screen as it is a nice reminder of sunk ships...but it should be not obstructing in any way.
(or maybe make a new picture of a hex with wreck wood.. and leave that on the spot.. )
