| Message text I'd like to propose that drifting still occur last in the movement phase. After playing with it as it is now, it doesn't work well. You really have to plan two turns in advance... say you pull up beside a struck ship. Not only do you have to see if it's drifting this turn, but next turn as well AND you have to get out of its way. That goes against the spirit (and rule) of a drifting ship being something that you can see coming from a mile away. Drifting is already not real popular and if we make it harder to play with, I fear fewer people will accept the new rules. I love drifting, but having it occur during regular movement just doesn't work well for me. Any thoughts? |
