First, in many other situations, the move order does appear to simultaneous. Perhaps there is a sequence written into the game code, but it isn't always apparent, and in this same scenario, I've used the same set of opening moves before without the Royal Oak hanging up like this.
Second, if the Royal Oak had collided, where is the other ship? Both ships should stop immediately when they collide, leaving them adjacent to one another, but the nearest ships to the Royal Oak are two hexes away. And since no ships have been sunk yet (and since sunken ships are now visible on the screen), it's not like I'm bumping into one of them. |
