In the "Arbuthnot and Des Touches" scenario, the wind starts in a gale (with advanced rules), which reduces the movement allowance for SOLs. As a result, most people raise full sails, which quickly get shot away with the massive guns in that scenario. What's a great battle of movement with basic rules breaks down into a drifting slugfest with advanced rules because no one can move. I suggest making the starting wind a normal breeze. That scenario is from the rulebook, right? If so, I understand the reluctance to change it, but it just doesn't work as well, in my opinion. Comments?

We already have the "Balanced" version of that scenario where we modified crew strength... we might as well change the wind there

Other opinions or other people who agree?
